Nana Judy - MBFWA 2012

Mercedes Benz Fashion Week 2012 definitely went out on a high!  Nana Judy's Spring/Summer 2012 collection was raw, edgy and fun...tees and denim jackets, jeans and vests. Special guests, Amy Meredith sang their hits live, whilst model's struted the runway.

Until next time Fashion Week!

Suboo MBFWA 2012

One of my favourite shows this year was the Suboo Spring/Summer 2012/13 collection.  From the stunning collection, to the celebrity guests and of course, the 360 degree runway show at Australia Square's The Summit.  The S/S 'Place in the Sun' 2012/13 collection includes unique silhouettees with a sorbet and citrus colour palette.

Kooey Australia - MBFWA 2012

This year, guests at Kooey Australia, were treated to Kooey's S/S 2012/13 collection, a collaboration with Miss Universe Australia, Scherri-Lee Biggs and a Men's S/S 2012/13 collection.  Kooey's S/S 2012/12 collection remained true to Kooey's asthetic inspired by Australian native culture.
The Scherri Lee for Kooey collection was inspired by Australian summer and all things fun and feminine.  Whilst Kooey's signatory elements were prominent, this collection was girly with the use of a pastel colour palette.

Aurelio Costarella - MBFWA 2012

Aurelio Costarella's S/S 2012/13 collection epitomised glamour and elegance.  The collection was inspired by Renaissance Art, however, drew particular inspiration from 1920s oriental art for his colour palette.  Aurerlio's collection included Red Carpet numbers that left audiences wanting more... gorgeous beaded gowns, embroidery, feathers, raffia, silk, embellishments and stunning headpieces completed each look.

Dylan Cooper - MBFWA 2012

The light shined bright for young designer Dylan Cooper.  As winner of Project Runway Australia, Dylan featured his S/S 2012/13 collection at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia.
This year's designers were given the choice to show their collection in the form of a presentation, giving viewers the chance to see the collections up close.  Dylan Cooper's S/S 2012/13 collection exceeded critics' expectations.  From clashing floral and geometric prints to vibrant pops of colour...bright structured blazers to long Grecian floral dresses....pretty peplum cuts to stunning little pleats.  I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what Dylan will do next!
